For a race track we created an email-based ticket renewal strategy and increased annual renewals 12% to 20%, selling over $100,000 in tickets while slashing postage costs. Working with the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) we created a marketing database of ticket buyers and captured important customer data including recency, type of purchase and race attendance. We used the data to launch an email marketing program to help racetracks sell more tickets.
Financial benchmarking: automotive market research success
We created the SEMA Financial Benchmarking project, surveying tens of thousands of automotive aftermarket businesses each month on business owners' and managers' outlook for the next several months, whether they're up or down from the previous year and other key performance indicators. Owners and managers can compare their performance with actual automotive market research data from across the industry. Over 7,500 aftermarket businesses have participated in the program.
More profitable auto parts catalogs and direct marketing
We designed mailing strategies for an auto parts catalog retailer and created new mailing models and customer contact strategies and as a result reduced marketing expenses by more than $1.5 million over a two-year period while increasing sales.
