We are now 39 days away from the SEMA Show and AAPEX. With the show approaching, we can’t help but wonder what other people are saying, so here is a look at what the web is saying about SEMA/AAPEX!
So far, semashow.com has a partial list of 1,887 exhibitors. That number is bound to climb as the show approaches and more exhibitor names are released. Over the past month alone, there have been more than 30,000 blogs talking about the SEMA Show and AAPEX. So what are they saying?
Perhaps the most talked about topic right now is the world premiere sneak preview of the “Snake & Mongoose” movie during the NHRA breakfast on Wednesday, October 31st from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Las Vegas Hotel Ballroom. “Snake & Mongoose” is about two rival drag racers from California and how they changed the face of racing forever. After the preview, the audience will have a chance to take part in a Q&A session with panelists Don “the Snake” Prudhomme and Tom “the Mongoose” McEwen, along with the film’s writer Alan Paradise and producer Robin Broidy. The original “Snake” and “Mongoose” NHRA Funny Cars will also be on display at the breakfast.
Some blogs are talking about SEMA’s announcement that awards will be given to the top trend-setting car, truck, sport compact and 4×4 SUV. The winning vehicles will be determined by SEMA exhibitors themselves. The exhibitors will look for the vehicles that they believe are best for accessorizing and best for showcasing the industry’s hottest products.
The Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) will be offering a free vehicle technology session focused on vehicle advancements in crash-worthiness and crash avoidance technologies, as well as how this affects repair businesses.
Rockford Fosgate announced that they will be offering live coverage from the SEMA Show floor for fans who are unable to attend. They will provide coverage of their booth and the custom cars that feature their sound systems.
Many other blogs are from companies announcing that they will be attending and exhibiting at the show.
